This project is named 'México sí tiene memoria,' which translates to 'México does have memory.' I asked several Mexicans to write short stories about what they understand to be the root of Mexico's corruption and insecurity, and I ended up illustrating them. In my mind, I wasn't just collaborating on a compilation of posters; I was also bringing to the surface a part of Mexican collective memory to ensure that it's 'kept alive.' An article about this project was supported by Time Out magazine, encouraging more Mexicans to participate in their free time by writing and illustrating their own stories.
